    🥊 2-Round Straight Punch Shadowboxing Routine

    Format:
    • Each round = 3 minutes
    • Rest between rounds = 30–45 seconds
    • Work at a controlled pace (about 60–70% speed) so form stays sharp

    Round 1 – Warm-Up Flow (Head & Body)

    0:00–0:30 – (1) Jab (light, snappy) – throw 1 jab, step, reset, repeat
    0:30–1:00 – (1-1) Double Jab – keep the second jab just as fast as the first
    1:00–1:30 – (1-2) Jab → Cross – pivot the rear foot on the cross
    1:30–2:00 – (1-2-1) Jab → Cross → Jab – light bounce between sets
    2:00–2:30 – (1b-2) Jab to the Body → Cross to the Head – bend knees for the body shot
    2:30–3:00 – (1-2b) Jab to the Head → Cross to the Body – smooth level change

    Round 2 – Combination & Movement

    0:00–0:30 – (1-1-2) Double Jab → Cross – step in on jabs, plant for cross
    0:30–1:00 – (1b-2b) Jab to the Body → Cross to the Body – drop level each time
    1:00–1:30 – (1b-1) Jab to the Body → Jab to the Head – rise up with the head shot
    1:30–2:00 – (1-2-1-2) Jab → Cross → Jab → Cross – basic 4-count
    2:00–2:30 – Mix (1’s) and (2’s) Freestyle – head and body shots, keep rhythm
    2:30–3:00 – Freestyle with Movement – circle left/right, forward/back, mixing all learned combos
    💡 Coaching Notes for Beginners
    • Keep the lead hand up after the jab — don’t drop it.
    • Pivot the rear foot on the (2) to add power without overreaching.
    • When punching to the body, bend your knees and keep your chin tucked.
    • Breathe out sharply on each punch.
